HDR10
The original HDR format HDR10 is currently the most widely used type of HDR. Numerous manufacturers and service providers have embraced it as an open standard. iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix
HLG
Hybrid Log Gamma is an important HDR format because it is currently used for TV broadcasts.
It combines images with standard and high dynamic range into a single feed. HLG-compatible TVs can then decode the HDR image from the feed.
Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision is perceived to be of higher quality than HDR10 due to its higher bitrate and the type of dynamic metadata that inspired competition and the development of HDR10+.
Amazon Prime Video and Netflix have both adopted the two formats.
